This year marks the 50th anniversary of a milestone season in Lebanon High School football history. On Friday, September 5th, during our Homecoming game vs. West Clermont, we are proud to recognize the 1975 LHS Football Team — champions of the Mid-Miami League (MML) and one of the most storied teams in program history.
The 1975 Warriors finished with an impressive 8-1-1 overall record, going undefeated in league play (6-0-1) with their only tie coming against Franklin in a hard-fought battle. This team brought home Lebanon's first league title since 1957, and it marked the first conference championship under legendary head coach Jim VanDeGrift, who sadly passed away in November of 2024. This fall's recognition will also serve as a tribute to Coach Vandy and the enduring legacy he left behind.
The team featured several standout athletes, including all-conference players Ronnie Fordyce, Johnny Johnston, Tom Groh, Ron Sempsrott, Brian Rockhold, and Mark Parker among others who contributed to a season that defined an era.
As we prepare to welcome these Warrior greats back to VanDeGrift Stadium, we need your help reconnecting with members of the 1975 team and coaching staff. If you know anyone who was part of this memorable group, please encourage them to complete the RSVP form linked below so we can include them in the celebration.

Let's come together as a community to honor this historic team, their accomplishments, and the coach who helped shape Lebanon Football into what it is today.
