Coach Grant Gardner is in his first year as the Freshman Boys Basketball Coach at Lebanon High School, bringing 3 years of coaching experience to the team. A Lebanon High School graduate, Coach Gardner was a standout point guard for the basketball team, earning 3 varsity letters and serving as team captain multiple times during his high school career.
Before returning to Lebanon, Coach Gardner coached for 2 years at Franklin High School, where he served as both the Freshman Head Coach and Assistant Coach. His teams achieved great success, culminating in a 2023-2024 SWBL Championship for Franklin, in an outstanding season.
Coach Gardner is also a dedicated Science Teacher at Lebanon High School, where he is passionate about fostering the growth of his students both in and out of the classroom.
Outside of coaching, Coach Gardner enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching basketball, and helping athletes with training. In his free time, he indulges in his love of video games. Coming from a big Lebanon family, Coach Gardner’s roots run deep in the community. His parents, Natalie and Brent, are both Lebanon graduates and still live in the area. He is the youngest of three siblings, with two older sisters, Kelsi and Kristin, who are also Lebanon alumni.
