Jennifer Burns joins the Lebanon Junior High School girls volleyball program as an assistant coach for the 2025 season. A Lebanon High School alumna and member of the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame, Coach Burns brings a lifelong passion for volleyball and years of coaching experience to the team.
As a former varsity volleyball and basketball player at Lebanon, she earned OHSVCA Division 1 All-Ohio Honorable Mention, District 15 First Team honors, and was named a Senior All-Star. She led her team in digs, ace serves, and kills—both in a single match and over a season. She continued her volleyball journey at Miami University, playing on the collegiate club team and earning recognition as a NIRSA National All-American Middle Hitter.
Coach Burns has coached youth volleyball for over six years, as well as men’s club volleyball while in college. Her coaching experience also includes youth lacrosse, soccer, and basketball, reflecting her deep commitment to youth sports and player development.
Off the court, Jennifer is a stay-at-home mom and former marketing and PR professional. She and her husband Zach live in Lebanon with their four children—Jack, Lillie, Evie, and Luke—and their two dogs, Rosie and Coco. She enjoys traveling, reading, going to comedy shows, and watching her kids play sports.
Coach Burns is excited to support the program and help guide young athletes both on and off the court.
