The interest from college programs such as Wisconsin, Dayton, South Carolina, Xavier, Purdue, Miami, West Virginia, and Ohio State (to name a few) highlights the broader recognition of his potential. Already having received scholarship offers from Kent State and Ohio, it's clear that Anthony's talent is highly regarded.

Thompson's participation in prestigious events like the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars camp, where he made the 2026 top 20 all-star game, and his ranking as the No. 5 Ohioan in the 2026 class by PrepHoopsOH further solidifies his status as a top prospect in the sophomore class. On the court for the Warriors, Thompson's statistics speak volumes about his skill set, averaging 8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 15.5 points per game with a 50% shooting accuracy through 11 games in his sophomore season. His standout performance in the road win over Turpin on Tuesday, grabbing 18 boards and scoring 21 points, highlights his impact.
