Zach Barsala

Coach Zach Barsala is in his first year coaching the indoor and outdoor track teams at Lebanon High School. A proud graduate of Lebanon High School, Coach Barsala was a standout athlete, excelling in both football and track. As a wide receiver in football and a pole vaulter in track, he earned an impressive six varsity letters—four in track and two in football. His track career highlights include placing 8th in the Indoor State Championship (Pole Vault), qualifying for Indoor State twice (Pole Vault), earning All Southwest Ohio honors, and being a two-time Regional qualifier. He also claimed the GWOC South Championship in both pole vault and the 4x100 relay and was named 2nd Team All-League in football.

In addition to his athletic achievements, Coach Barsala was the Salutatorian of the Class of 2017 at Lebanon High School. He went on to attend the University of Cincinnati, where he was a cheerleader, and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Outside of coaching and his professional career, Coach Barsala enjoys reading, watching Cincinnati sports, and spending time with his family and friends. He married his wife, Alexis, in 2023, and they have a mini-goldendoodle named Callie. Coach Barsala is one of four brothers, all of whom attended and played sports at Lebanon High School between 2009 and 2018, further deepening his connection to the community and its athletic programs
