Coach Kyle Francis begins his first season as a Boys Volleyball Assistant Coach at Lebanon High School. A proud Lebanon High School graduate, Coach Francis was a multi-sport athlete, competing in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. His athletic experience includes playing freshman basketball as a guard, soccer as a midfielder, and volleyball as a defensive specialist and right-side hitter.
Coach Francis was a highly accomplished varsity athlete, earning five Lebanon Varsity Awards, lettering four years in soccer and three years in volleyball. On the soccer field, he was recognized as First Team All-FAVC (2000), Second Team All-FAVC (1999), and Honorable Mention All-FAVC (1998). He also tied a Lebanon soccer school record by scoring five goals in a single game against Monroe in the fall of 2000.
In addition to his playing career, Coach Francis brings three years of youth sports coaching experience to the program. Outside of athletics, he has spent 20 years at GE Aerospace and currently serves as a Business Operations Leader at a facility in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Coach Francis has been married for 18 years to his Lebanon High School sweetheart, Kayla Francis. They have three daughters—Lucy (14), Audrey (12), and Claire (9)—all of whom attend Lebanon schools. The Francis family also includes two Great Danes, Jazzy and Joe.
In his free time, Coach Francis enjoys watching his daughters compete in volleyball and basketball, playing golf, camping in their RV, visiting National Parks, and cheering on Cincinnati sports teams. He is excited to give back to the Lebanon community and help support the continued growth of the boys volleyball program.
