Erin Edmonds

Coach Erin Edmonds is a much-loved and respected coach and has been a cornerstone of the Lebanon High School girls' soccer program for 11 years, where her leadership and expertise have played a pivotal role in shaping the team’s success. A former college soccer player at Georgetown College, Erin excelled as a center midfielder, bringing both technical skill and a deep understanding of the game to her coaching.

Under her leadership, the Lebanon girls' soccer team has achieved numerous accomplishments, including winning the GWOC Championship in 2019. Coach Edmonds' coaching achievements have been recognized with several honors, including the OHSAA Award in 2021 and MVSSCA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2017. In 2024, she was honored as Co-Coach of the Year in the ECC, a testament to her leadership and the success of her program. Recently, Coach Edmonds celebrated a personal milestone, recording her 50th career win as a head coach on October 7, 2024. Her team also earned the District Championship in 2024, marking another major achievement in her coaching career.

Erin's athletic background is extensive; in addition to her soccer experience, where she played center back in soccer, she was also a point guard in basketball, and competed in the 200m, 400m, and 4x200 relay in track at Ryle High School. Her well-rounded athletic background has allowed her to bring a holistic approach to coaching, focusing on teamwork, strategy, and personal development.

Outside of coaching, Erin works in medical device sales and enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. She is married to Greg, and together they have three children: Molly (20), Luke (19), and Colbie (6). The Edmonds family also includes their goldendoodle, Barley.

Coach Edmonds remains dedicated to helping her athletes grow as soccer players and individuals, fostering a love for the game and instilling valuable life skills in all of her players.
