Coach Yusuf Polley brings over 15 years of coaching experience to Lebanon High School, where he leads the track and field hurdles team with a passion for developing athletes both on and off the track. A proud alum of Bishop Fenwick High School, Coach Polley was an accomplished multi-sport athlete, participating in basketball, soccer, track and field, swim team, and marching band/drumline. His dedication to track and field earned him 1st Team All-Conference honors in the 100m dash, 200m dash, 4x100m relay, and 4x200m relay.
From 2009 to 2021, Coach Polley was a key figure at Bishop Fenwick, coaching track and field, wrestling, and percussion. As the Girls Head Track & Field Coach from 2020 to 2021, he helped guide multiple athletes to state-level success, both in track and wrestling. His deep understanding of the sport is complemented by his ability to connect with athletes and inspire them to reach their fullest potential.
Outside of coaching, Coach Polley is a skilled carpenter, designing and building furniture as well as various woodworking projects. He is also an active drummer, performing locally, and enjoys playing soccer. His commitment to craftsmanship, music, and athletics reflects his well-rounded character and dedication to excellence.
Coach Polley shares his life with his 7-year-old Red Heeler, Duke, and continues to inspire his athletes with the same discipline and passion he brings to all his endeavors.
