Coach Jacob Shaw is in his first year as the Boys Volleyball Coach at Lebanon High School, bringing over 21 years of coaching experience to the program. A proud graduate of Lebanon High School, Coach Shaw was a key player on the 1995 and 1996 State Champion Boys Volleyball teams, where he played as a middle hitter. His high school career was marked by impressive individual accolades, including 2nd Team All-State, Ohio All-Tournament Team, and Ohio vs. Indiana All-Star honors.
Coach Shaw continued his volleyball career at the collegiate level, playing as a middle hitter at Eastern Kentucky University and Lee University. His coaching journey began at Murray County High School in Georgia, where he served as the Head Coach for Women’s Volleyball from 2002 to 2005. He later coached the Junior Varsity Boys Volleyball team at Lakota West from 2014 to 2017, further developing his coaching skills.
In addition to coaching, Coach Shaw is a dedicated teacher and values spending time with his family and friends. He is also an active member of the Lebanon community, participating in and supporting The Lebanon Impact Club, a ministry focused on serving local students. Coach Shaw has been married to his high school sweetheart for 25 years, and they have three children: Kaitlynn, Emma, and Eli.
With a wealth of experience both as a player and coach, Coach Shaw is excited to continue contributing to the success of the Lebanon High School Boys Volleyball program and the development of its athletes.
