We have three student-athletes to highlight this week!
Corbin Jones (JR) - VOLLEYBALL
Corbin has been a major contributor for the Warriors all season and has elevated his play down the stretch. Over the last five matches, he has averaged an impressive 16 kills per match. He closed out the regular season in dominant fashion with 20 kills and 8 aces in a four-set victory over Turpin. Corbin's recent performances have helped him become the team leader in both kills and aces this season. The Warriors will look to earn their first playoff victory in 25 years on Wednesday evening. Congratulations, Corbin!
Macy Lane (JR) - LACROSSE
Macy has been one of the most dependable defenders for the Warriors throughout the season. She currently ranks second on the team in interceptions with five and third in caused turnovers with 22. Macy has also provided a steady presence in transition play and has become a reliable outlet for the goalie. Beyond her on-field performance, she has embraced a strong leadership role through both her actions and communication. We are excited to continue watching Macy grow throughout the remainder of the season and beyond.
Caleb Ritter (JR) - BASEBALL
Caleb has emerged as a key piece of the Warriors' success this season, helping lead the team to a 16-6 record. The junior pitcher currently holds a 3.08 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 36 strikeouts across 34 innings pitched. Following a difficult outing at Kings, Caleb responded in a big way by throwing six shutout innings in a 1-0 road win over first-place Turpin. He followed that performance with another strong six-inning outing against Chaminade Julienne, earning another victory while allowing just three runs. Congratulations to Caleb on an outstanding season so far!
