2025 Football-Gameday Week 10

GRAND FINALE | Week 10 Football at VanDeGrift Stadium

Come early. Be loud. Let’s pack VanDeGrift Stadium for one of the biggest nights of the year!

10/19/2025 2:53:00 PM

The regular season comes to a dramatic close this Friday night at VanDeGrift Stadium as the Lebanon Warriors (7-2) host the Winton Woods Warriors (7-2) in a battle of two of the top teams in the ECC. Lebanon will certainly enter as underdogs against the perennial power and will rely on community support for a major home field advantage. Winton Woods enters as the current #5 seed in Region 4, while Lebanon sits at #6 in Region 2 — and with the new 12-team playoff format, the winner is in position to potentially secure a first-round bye when the postseason begins next week.

This week's matchup has been selected as the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown Game of the Week presented by Mercy Health. Expect extra energy around the stadium as the Crosstown Showdown team promotes the event throughout the week and joins us Friday with special game-day elements.

Lebanon is now 7-2, marking the third straight season with seven wins under head coach Micah Faler — the program's first such stretch since 2003, when the Warriors posted seven or more wins in eight consecutive seasons beginning in 1996 under Dave Brausch.

Friday is also Senior Night. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., we'll recognize our seniors from football, cheer, dance, band, girls tennis, boys and girls golf, and cross country for their commitment and contributions to Lebanon High School.

At halftime, we'll turn the spotlight to champions — the 2025 Division I State Champion Softball Team will be presented with their state championship rings, alongside a performance by the LHS Marching Warriors.

And the celebration doesn't stop there. After the game, fans are encouraged to stick around for a special tradition and one new initiative:

  • The Senior Walk, as our Class of 2026 students make their way arm-in-arm from end zone to end zone to their class song, approximately 15 minutes after the final whistle.

  • A fireworks show, sponsored by Jake Sweeney Jake Sweeney GMC/Buick, to close out the regular season in style.
